Dawson (born May 9, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. Her debut in
a feature film was in 1995's drama series, the independent Kids. In the
following years, she was a part of films such as He Got Game (1998) and Josie
and the Pussycats (1901), Men in Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven
Pounds (2008) and Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2010). Dawson has also
performed voice-over work for Disney/Marvel and Warner Bros./DC Comics as well
as ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her performance in Rent, Dawson won the
Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress for a Motion Picture; for her
performance in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award for
Best actress in a comedy. Dawson was born on May 9, 1979 in New York City.
Isabel Celeste, her mother is Afro-Cuban. Isabel was 16 years old at the time
that Rosario was born; she was never married to Rosario's father, Patrick C.
Harris. When Rosario was one year old, her mother got married to Greg Dawson, a
construction worker. Dawson is four years older than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s
half-brother. Dawson is also famous for her various roles in comic book
adaptions. In 2020, she voiced Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian,
and is due to play the upcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also
be appearing in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy series developed by
Dwayne John in 2021.
