Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress from Canada. She was the Teletoon child's comedy series Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 until 2010, she starred as Becky Richards in the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules! From 2009 to 2010, she was a star in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution, a post-apocalyptic science-fiction show. She was nominated to win a Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. She portrayed Annika Johnson in the A&E TV drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos is a regular on the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. Spiridakos has portrayed Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owners George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos, both of whom were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. The family moved to her father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta just a few years after she was born and then returned to Canada in 1992. She strongly identifies with her Greek roots and is fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. Then she attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School. Spiridakos left Winnipeg to pursue acting in 2007. She was able to get her first role on Supernatural within a matter of weeks. Spiridakos continued her work on television, playing walk-on roles in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos was in the TV movie Goblin as well as the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also appeared on Being Human, as Brynn McLean, the werewolf. In 2009, the actress got her first lead role in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011 she made her debut as a feature film with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also filmed Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller by Michael Greenspan, which starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos made an appearance as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. The role of Charlotte Matheson, a survivalist living in a dystopian civilisation, was her lead on the NBC TV show Revolution. In her pilot season, she auditioned for this role. Spiridakos filmed the pilot in Atlanta and the initial season in Wilmington. Her performance in the first season of the series nominated for the Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. However, she lost to Fringe's Anna Torv. In the second season, production was moved to Austin Texas.
