Bonnie Schneider appears as a meteorologist on CNN, HLN and other platforms. She is also the on-camera expert and co-executive producer of television specials for the DIY NETWORK, called THE LAST HOUSE STANDING which debuted on March 30th, 2012. Her debut book, EXTREME WEEKEND was published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston she also offered the entertainment and lifestyle reports as the special assignment reporter on a daily basis. Her previous position was as the weekend meteorologist at WFOR-TV, Miami. She's held a variety of reports and meteorology positions, including: News 12 Long Island that is a 24-hour broadcasting network for news and entertainment, and WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Additionally, she was employed by The CBS network within New York City as a frequent fill-in meteorologist on the The Saturday Early Show.
