Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who has spiky blond wigs and a pumped-up persona, shows how to cook restaurant-style dishes at home, using easy methods. Chef Burrell studied and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and food in her early years. The Culinary Institute of America was the next stage for her when she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The student says "I was a huge Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I loved every minute of it." I couldn't study or accomplish enough. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending Umbria. She also attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. While in Italy, she developed a profound appreciation and understanding of Italian food and culture. This has had a profound impact on the way that Burrell prepares her food. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten children who are facing difficulties. She also serves as a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she is an advocate for children with diabetes and awareness. Burrell speaks on her culinary passion, and also shares her experiences in the food world as she frequently goes on trips across the USA in various roles such as speaker and mentor. Anne was always grateful that she had the opportunity to share her love of her life, cooking with others.
